In Search of the Grey Ghost
Venture into Mongolia’s Altai Mountains to photograph one of the world’s most elusive big cats—the snow leopard. Timed during peak mating season, this expedition offers our best opportunity for sightings. Along the way, we’ll also track and photograph the rarely seen Pallas’s cat, supported by expert trackers, a wildlife biologist, and a local team.

Where We Go and What We’ll See
We begin in the steppe, focusing on Pallas’s cat, then head to higher elevations where snow leopards roam. This region hosts one of the world’s highest concentrations of these cats. With patience and time in the field, we may also encounter Siberian Ibex, Corsac Foxes, and other cold-climate wildlife.

Designed for Photographers
Each day is built around light and wildlife movement—not rigid schedules. With just six participants, you’ll have space for individual coaching, image reviews, and editing sessions between fieldwork.

Purposeful, Immersive, Supported
Stay in traditional ger camps with warm meals and strong local support. Every element of this trip—from logistics to learning—is designed to help you photograph these rare animals with clarity, depth, and respect for the land.
